Pinay domestic helper aims to plant PHL flag on Mt. Everest neighbor

Nearly two decades' worth of hiking and two years of saving up holidays and cash culminated in a climb up a 6,189-meter-high mountain in the Himalayas Region for Filipina domestic helper Liza Avelino. "I can’t wait to stand on Island Peak," said the Hong Kong-based Avelino.
