Family demands thorough investigation into death of loved one in Saudi Arabia

With high spirits and the dream to help her family, Marry Ann Laniog left this town to work abroad last April. Though she was sad to see her children weeping as she left, Gemotra went to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia to work as a domestic helper in the home of a prominent banker. There, her employer allegedly maltreated her and threatened to kill her, according to Marry Ann in a series of text messages to her sister Jing back in Tulunan.
