Pinay named NYC’s first-ever chief technology officer

New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio has tapped Filipino-American Minerva L. Tantoco to be the city’s first chief technology officer. She will head an entirely new division within the mayor’s office called the Office of Technology and Innovation.
