AFP: Pinoy troops in Golan Heights safe, in touch with PHL military

The 81 Philippine peacekeepers caught in a standoff in Golan Heights are relatively safe and remain in touch with the Armed Forces of the Philippines, the military said Friday. AFP public information office head Lt. Col. Ramon Zagala also said the Filipino troops are in "relatively good condition," and that their families have been informed about the situation.
