Jersey City council passes anti-wage theft ordinance
JERSEY CITY, N.J. – The Jersey City Council, led by Filipino-American Council President Rolando Lavarro, passed in a unanimous 9-0 vote the anti-wage theft law that would protect workers from having their wages stolen by employers.
